Hike to Heal is part of our 2019 Be Yew Programme, which grew from the implications that sedentary lifestyles, social isolation and stress have on our long-term health, increasing our risk of developing serious physical and mental illness.

By combining physical cardio exercise, by means of hiking and walks with energy healing exercises and meditations, along with creating an open and welcoming community, Hike to Heal uses natural beauty surroundings to promote healthy body and mind, and encourages long-term self care and support for those who are looking to make 2019 a year of action and change.

Upcoming Hike to Heal events:

February 10th 2019 – Hike to Heal Carrowkeel

Time: 12:00 – 14:00

Carrowkeel is a megalithic archeological site in Co. Sligo, with the estimated construction period in the 4th century BC. This area is the most spectacular archeological site I have visited in Ireland, combining fascinating history with special healing energy. It is quite the hidden gem in the west of Ireland and really an incredible site.

The ascent to Carrowkeel is easy, with a steady walkway up to the cairns. The duration of the event is 1.5 – 2 hours.

We will meet in the car park of the Carrowkeel Megalithic Cemetery (https://goo.gl/maps/wzuFixvBqTA2).

Recommended Gear: Walking boots, waterproof clothing, walking sticks (advisable), water.

Please note that booking is necessary as places are limited. Adults and children are welcome, children must also be registered prior to event.

There are no tickets for this event, only on donation basis.
